COSMOBEAUTE SET TO BREAK RECORDS YET AGAIN

KUALA LUMPUR, 30 MAY 2013 – Cosmobeauté Asia – the largest and most professional trade exhibition for the beauty industry in Malaysia and the ASEAN region – announced its 9th edition which organiser, ECMI ITE, expects will once again top the high standards they have set for the industry, and themselves at a press conference held on last Thursday.

“We are very pleased with the year on year growth we have achieved with this exhibition. With a wide variety of international brands and exhibits, we have constantly improved and enticed new exhibitors to our exhibition. This will in turn attract more beauty product manufacturers from across the world to participate in this exhibition. I am very excited about this year’s edition because we will have country pavilions from both Italy and Turkey for the first time,” said Managing Director of ECMI ITE, Mr. CP Saw during the press conference.

CosmoNail Cup International Nail Competition 2013

Jointly organised by Cosmobeauté Asia and JJ Nail Professional Training Centre, CosmoNail Cup International Nail Competition 2013 will be held on 16th July, second day of exhibition to gather talents from the nail industry.

CosmoNail Cup International Nail Competition 2013 is open to professionals, students and individuals to unleash their creativity and skills on various categories such as Manicure Gel Polish, Pink & White Sculpture Acrylic, Salon Success Gel Design – Forms or Tips, Design Sculptured Stiletto Nails, In Box Mix Media Presentation (10 tips) and In Box Hand Painted Flat Nail Art (10 tips).

Introducing 2 new categories this year – Team Relay One Tone Tip Extension, which portrays teamwork throughout the competition process, as well as the Open Category of Phone Case Living Art, which believed to showcase unlimited creativity on phone case with, nail art experience.

Ms Erin Eng, Co-Founder of JJ Nail Professional Training Centre mentioned that the competition fit its role in supporting the rapidly growing industry as a platform for nail technicians of all levels to compete and receive fair assessment from panel of international judges from Ukraine, Poland, USA, Korea, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia.

2nd ASEAN Spa & Wellness Forum and Exhibition (ASWFE)

The 2nd edition of ASEAN Spa & Wellness Forum was announced to be held from 16th – 17th July during the press conference. Organised by the Malaysian Association of Wellness and Spa (MAWSPA) for the second year, not only educational sessions focused on Operational and Management will be organised, but also a dedicated exhibit area showcasing Spa and Wellness brands and products will be organised during the 2-days event. MAWSPA would like to have the members of Spa and Wellness industry in Malaysia to equip themselves with know-hows and knowledge.

Dr. Baskaran Kosthi, Vice President of the Malaysian Association of Wellness and Spa (MAWSPA) has also assured confirmed participation of international Spa and Wellness experts at the 2nd edition of forum to share their experiences, knowledge and industry insights.

My Runway Makeup Show 2013

Award winning makeup artist, Kenz Ooi will be making an appearance in Cosmobeauté Asia this July showcasing his latest collection of makeup 2013!

The press were treated with exclusive preview of his My Runway Makeup Show 2013 showcasing his signature airbrush techniques of flawless effects at the press conference.

Kenz who has made various appearance is various editions of Cosmobeauté Asia stated that he is looking forward to the makeup show this July. He also said that the makeup show sets to be an inspiration for entertainment, film, tv and fashion industry as he will be showcasing various themed masterpieces on stage with Mehron Professional Makeup, an 80-years leader in development and production of professional HD makeup in the industry.

The 9th edition of Cosmobeauté Asia, which is also known as the dedicated event for beauticians and individuals in beauty industry, will be the right platform to move forward in the beauty industry.
