Cosmobeaute Indonesia 2011 Post Show Report

Another year of success!


Cosmobeauté Indonesia 2011 - the 6th Indonesia International Exhibition & Conference on Cosmeceutical, Cosmetics, Beauty, Hair and Spa concluded successfully in Jakarta, Indonesia. A total of 130 exhibitors from 25 countries joined Cosmobeauté Indonesia this year showcasing the latest innovations and technologies in beauty products, services and equipment at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) from 28th till 30th October.

9,026 visitors came from all around the world including Germany, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam and many big cities of Indonesia itself such as North Sumatera, Sulawesi and Central Jawa to visit this event. Visitors comprised of trade professionals from the beauty industry such as importers / distributors, salon owners, beauticians, therapists and aestheticians who came to source new products and experience current trends and technologies.

Cosmobeauté Indonesia 2011 not only provided live demonstrations, interactive seminars and workshops but also a platform for the beauty trade professionals to share experience and knowledge as well as explore business matching and networking opportunities. In short, the right place for beauty industry meeting!

COSMOHAIR 2011

Supported by Organisation Mondiale Coiffure (OMC) Indonesia, Cosmobeauté Indonesia presented COSMOHAIR 2011 themed “World Trend 2012” which took the stage and wooed visitors with demonstrations by leading hair professionals such as “Top Stylist Team Beauty 8”, “Irwan Doke”, “Toni & Guy Team”, “Hair Fusion”, “Shu Fei& Francis Owen” and ended with “Hair Show” parade as the finale.

RUDY HADISUWARNO AWARD 2011

The much awaited Rudy Hadisuwarno Award 2011 kick started with hair and make-up competition with categories such as Creative Men’s Cutting, Creative Ladies Cutting, Creative Up Styling, Creative Make Up and Bridal Make up prior to the award presentation. Audiences were also entertained with the Demo Cut Live by Gunawan Hadisuwarno and Diana Hadisuwarno themselves.

NAIL COMPETITION 2011 “SAVE THE PLANET”

Nail Competition 2011 “Save the Planet”, presented by the Indonesia Nail
Association (INA) impressed the audiences with wonderful nail art and extension techniques. Participants unleashed their talent in nail art techniques, color composition, nail extension and design relevancy to the theme “Save the Planet”. Visitors also got to catch Natalia Karakhati Roberta, one of the founders of INA in action explained about nail art and extension at the Nails and Go Green with Sub Theme: Beautiful Indonesia.

BUSINESS MATCHING

The Business Matching successfully facilitated one-to-one meetings between exhibitors and potential buyers during the 3 days of Cosmobeauté Indonesia 2011 at the exhibition lounge and booths.
Additionally, an exclusive arrangement was made for the members of KADIN Chamber of Commerce to meet the Taiwanese and Korean exhibitors. The attendance of KADIN Chamber of Commerce members was a significant contribution in achieving the aim of this business matching event - meeting the right person for their business.

COSMOBEAUTE INDONESIA 2011 DAY 2 CONTINUES TO IMPRESS VISITORS

Visitors showed their support for Cosmobeaute Indonesia 2011 participating in various workshops, seminars and stage program on the second day. Long queue of visitors are still visible at the main entrance and registration counter.

Visitors were welcomed and greeted by the duo MCs at the Babyliss PRO booth throwing out quizzes with attractive prizes. Both the MCs jokes around and brought joyful and lively atmosphere entertaining our visitors.

Workshop themed “Future Anti Aging & Holistic Healing” were conducted at Room Kakatua where our visitors were benefited with many healthy tips on anti-aging apart from beauty tips.

The following are the workshops conducted:

  • 2. “Health and Emotional Quality Management” by Mr. Anthony Dio Martin, Spsi, MBA
  • 3. “What Fresh Cell Therapy Can Do For You” by Dr. S. Ali Mohamed, MD
  • 4. “Free Radical Test to Prevent Cancer and Diseases” by Mr. Dietrich Bachmann

Among our various speakers, Dr Andralia talked about important factors which contribute to a healthy, strong and vibrant body free from sickness and disease. Mr. Kittichaiwong, the Managing Director of Bangkok Mediplex and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Holistic Medical Centre (HMC) introduced the concept of achieving maximum fitness results using vibration and vacuum technology equipment.

On the other hand, Mr. Anthony highlighted the connection between Emotional Intelligence (EI) and health condition where our immune system is highly affected by our emotion. Dr. S. Ali Mohamed presented the cell therapy treatment which enable improvement in skin tone and complexion as well as helping organs to regain their vitality.

Nail Competition 2011 “Save the Planet”, presented by the Indonesia Nail Association (INA) impressed the audiences with wonderful nail art and extension techniques. Honourable Ms Lisa Kang from Korea and Ms Christine Le, the President Director and Founder of Christrio US had some difficult time judging the talented participants.

After a competitive and exciting moment, winners of the Nail Competition 2011 “Save the Planet” are announced:

NAIL ART:

1st Prize           : Renny Putri (Tangerang – Banten, Indonesia)

2nd Prize           : Fatin Hanifah (Aloha Nails – Dharmawangsa Square)

3rd Prize           : Muji Rahayu (Fuad Salon – North Jakarta)

NAIL EXTENSION:

1st Prize           : Nicole Tee Hui Cheng (Prina – Singapore)

2nd Prize           : Juwita Liana

3rd Prize           : Handayani

Finally “Let's Love Shine Your Beauty” presented by Prana took the stage introducing beauty, hair, nail products to all the ladies in the hall. Products made from natural and nutritious materials such as henna, amla, shikakai, tulsi and Vitamin C are not only practical but also easy to use and free from chemical compounds.

COSMOBEAUTE INDONESIA 2011 Growing Bigger and Stronger!

Cosmobeaute Indonesia 2011 opened its door on the first day to welcome visitors who are already queuing up at the registration counter before 10:00 am. We have registered visitors coming from all over the world including Germany, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam and last but not least many big cities of Indonesia itself such as North Sumatera, Sulawesi, Central Jawa and many more. Cosmobeaute Indonesia 2011 is participated by 129 exhibitors from 25 countries with 3 main pavilions, Taiwan, Singapore and Korea Pavilion which promised to serve our visitors better.

Visitors enjoyed the privilege of trying out new innovations and technology as well as new products samples personally at Cosmobeaute Indonesia 2011. Additionally, visitors had the first priority to receive beauty tips and first-hand knowledge from the experts.

Workshop of the day “Make Up Techniques by Puspita Martha International Beauty School” was held successfully at Room Kakatua. Johny Mallato introduced “Bonjour Make Up” Paris-Syle Techniques De Maquillage while Chenny Han put on a demonstration on airbrush make up technic which both thrilled their audiences on their specialized make up techniques.

On the other hand, 11 seminars had already took place at the meeting rooms on the very first day  of Cosmobeaute Indonesia 2011. The seminars had provided a great opportunity for the audience to meet and to be involved in discussion with well-known speakers regarding beauty issues and trends.

The center of attraction of the exhibition hall would be the main stage and it was kick started with the long awaited Rudy Hadisuwarno Award 2011. Rudy Hadisuwarno Organization hosted the hair and make up competition before the award presentation, various categories like Creative Men's Cutting, Creative Ladies Cutting, Creative Up Styling, Creative Make Up and Bridal Make up took the stage. Finalists unleashed their unlimited creativity and techniques in front of the judges such as Jacky Timortius, Alumni of Rudy Hadisuwarno Academy; Gunawan Hadisuwarno, Creative Director of Rudy Hadisuwarno Academy; Michael Zimbalist, Alumni of Rudy Hadisuwarno Academy and Henny S. Nugraha, General Manager of Salon Pro.

Despite the exciting moment of award presentation, audiences were presented with Demo Cut Live by Gunawan Hasiduwarno and Diana Hadisuwarno. Winners enjoyed the moment receiving awards from Rudy Hadisuwarno himself, and the winners are:

Not forgetting the highlight of the day, COSMOHAIR 2011 took the stage and wooed the visitors. Audiences can't take their eyes off the stage while various hair demonstration performed by internationally well-known hair stylists and experts. The strong line-up of demonstrations are “Top Stylist Team Beauty 8”, “Irwan Doke”, “Toni & Guy Team”, “Hair Fusion”, “Shu Fei & Francis Owen” and concluded with the “Hair Show” parade.

Business-to-Business (B2B) meeting was conducted in Cosmobeaute Indonesia 2011 at the exhibition lounge and booths. B2B meeting offers an interactive platform for registered participants to request for appointments with certain potential partners. Cosmobeaute Indonesia 2011 continued providing the pleasure of B2B meeting in the coming 2 days of exhibition and even at the Welcome Dinner hosted by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia.

The Welcome Dinner was held at the Museum Satria Mandala, Jakarta, attended by VIPs like Mr Berman Lubis, the Director of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Convention and Exhibition) of Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia. VIPs, exhibitors, resource persons who attended the dinner were entertained by cultural performance and served with Indonesia’s authentic local cuisines.

COSMOBEAUTE INDONESIA 2011 IS OPEN TODAY!

Buildup has been going on since Wednesday and we are pleased to see that the end-product – booths are now nicely constructed. Yesterday was a hectic Thursday as contractors were busy with final touches while exhibitors were occupied with their decoration and product placement at their designated booths.

After two long days of hard work and sweats, COSMOBEAUTÉ INDONESIA 2011 is now ready to welcome you with open arms.
