COSMOBEAUTÉ VIETNAM 2012 ANNOUNCED STRATEGIES ATTRACTING MORE REGIONAL VISITORS FROM MEKONG DELTA REGIONS

Cosmobeauté Vietnam, the biggest beauty trade fair in Vietnam announced new made-to-measure plan to over 100 companies and media at the kick-off meeting today in Majestic Hotel, Ho Chi Minh.

The kick-off meeting successfully hyped up the crowd consisting over 90 exhibiting and potential companies, and more than 20 media with a list of new marketing strategies and event highlights for Cosmobeauté Vietnam scheduled to happen next year from 19th to 21st of April 2012.


Chief Representative of Ministry of Industry of Trade, Mr. Phan The Hao delivered his opening speech to start off the meeting. Mr. Phan said that Cosmobeauté Vietnam has been an important platform for operators in the beauty industry and further conclude that the future of beauty industry growing in Vietnam is tremendous due to the increase in consumers spending and desire of looking good especially the 50% young population out of the 90 million people.

Followed by Mr. CP Saw, the Managing Director of ECMI Trade Fairs SEA Sdn Bhd announced comprehensive new directions of Cosmobeauté Vietnam as well as full range of itineraries which promised to fascinate both exhibitors and visitors.

Cosmobeauté Vietnam continues its commitment in providing a strategic platform for the beauty trade professionals for business networking by bringing in more regional group buyers from the neighboring countries such as Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar and Southern China of approximately 300 million population. “Our 2012 goal is to make Ho Chi Minh city the base and central focus in attracting not only trade visitors from Vietnam but more from the neighboring countries to visit Cosmobeauté Vietnam”, said Mr. Saw.

Ensuring the success of achieving this goal, Cosmobeauté Vietnam introduced a range of focus yet intensive marketing activities such as distribution of targeted direct mail invitations and visitors tickets to beauty trade professionals, free shuttle bus service to facilitate visitors with transportation difficulties in Vietnam and within neighboring countries, promotional road shows in Ho Chi Minh city and neighboring countries and last but not least a pre-arranged business meeting program.

An introduction of exciting events set to mesmerize visitors next year April such as the “Summer Wind” themed B x Art Fusion Hair Contest, Malaysian Postnatal Treatment, Plastic Surgeon International Conference and many more. “Cosmobeauté Vietnam anticipates towards the introduction of Vietnam Royal Spa concept within the region of Vietnam and even to Cambodia and Mekong Delta countries as we aim to see the grasping development of SPA industry in these very potential markets” says Mr. Saw while introducing the Vietnam Royal Spa concept as one of the event highlights.

Mr. Saw further announced that Dr. Murad, a US Skincare brand will be participating in Cosmobeauté Vietnam and the local distributors will host a conference targeting approximately 500-800 beauty professionals during Cosmobeauté Vietnam.

Attendees to the meeting were thrilled by the hair styling presentation by B x Art Vietnam Tokyo Beauty Art Academy and a skincare product introduction done by Minh Khuong Co Ltd.

Cosmobeauté Vietnam is scheduled to be held next year from 19th to 21st of April 2012 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh.

Cosmobeauté Vietnam, have been held in Ho Chi Minh City for the past 4 years will be back again in April 2012  targeting and focussing on trade visitors and buyers extending to Cambodia and Mekong Delta countries like Laos, Southern China and Northeast Thailand in view of the short travelling distance  and easy access from these countries to Ho Chi Minh City. For instance, Cambodian visitors could access to Ho Chi Minh City conveniently by road and flight only take less than an hour.  



Cosmobeauté Vietnam is an important beauty trade fair for importers, beauticians, salons, spa owners, hairstylist, nails technicians and it is an ideal platform to view latest trends, demonstration, hair and make-up shows, nail art display and many exciting talks. It is a perfect meeting place for beauty and spa industry operators from Vietnam, Cambodia and neighbouring countries  to network and share experience.  

The 5th edition of Cosmobeauté Vietnam will be incorporating the 2nd International Spa & Wellness Exhibition and Conference (ISWEC) which showcase the latest spa products and services, spa management talks after the recent successful ISWEC which manage to attract many spa operators, hotels and resorts’ management and therapists to attend the exhibition and talks. 



The exhibition floor space has been increased by 30% in anticipation of the many new national groups, such as European and Mediterranean countries.

(Saigon, Vietnam) 26 January 2011The International Spa Wellness Exhibition & Conference (ISWEC), a premier spa events and professional organisation, held its launch event at Lotus Ballroom at Legend Hotel, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It was an enormous success with more than 80 representatives consisting of spa & wellness managers, directors, owners and executives from over 60 companies, spas and salons including a few dozen editors and journalists from various newspaper organization and magazines.

The International Spa Wellness Exhibition & Conference (ISWEC) launch started off with ECMI organizer C.P. Saw, founder of Cosmobeaute and ISWEC, presenting an opening speech followed by a lecture given by ISWEC Organizing Committee, Mary Darling. An active Q&A session was furnished after to fulfil much of the obvious eagerness and curiosity of the audience.

As an interactive launch, ISWEC also gained valuable insights and suggestions from attendees and plans to implement a few of the following, ie: involving the ministry of Tourism & Culture, creating an identity for Vietnam Spas as a destination for tourists, setting Vietnam as a trend setter for Spas, recruiting local representatives from the authorities and policy makers to provide inside and valuable information on the rules and regulations in Vietnam and finally attracting investors to assist with development of new projects.

Cosmobeaute Vietnam, The 4th annual edition of International Exhibition & Conference on Cosmetics, Beauty, Hair & Spa, was successfully officiated by Representative of Ministry of Industry & Trade, Ministry of Health Vietnam and Vietnam Women Union on 21 April 2011. 

The opening was graced by the Wella Trend Vision hair show, which was  organised by  South Island Co Ltd. Many local well known and international hairstylists was  invited to give a live demo on stage for the  3-day event. 

Cosmobeaute Vietnam, is an important beauty trade fair for importers, beauticians, salons, spa owners, hairstylist, nails technicians.  Those involved in the Vietnam beauty industry also  visited to view latest trends,  demonstration, hair and make-up shows, nail art display and attend many exciting talks.  It is the perfect meeting place for beauty industry players in Vietnam and neighbouring countries to network and share experience – making it the ANNUAL meeting place.  It attracted 9, 987 trade visitors. More than 20% increase compared to last year. 

This year more than over 110 exhibitors from 11 countries representing 325 brands participated in this event, including  national groups from South Korea, Singapore , Taiwan and Malaysia.  

In view of the rise in Vietnam tourism and demand for spa and wellness treatments, ECMI brought the 1st International Spa and Wellness Exhibition and Conference, (ISWEC) to Ho Chi Minh City. Global spa industry experts was invited to share their invaluable insights, experiences, techniques and investment knowledge on how to operate a successful spa.  

Cosmobeaute Vietnam and ISWEC 2011 was supported by The Ministry of Trade and Industry of S.R. of Vietnam, The Ministry of Health of S.R. of Vietnam and Singapore Manufacturers’ Federation.  

The next event will be held on 19-21 April 2012. More International group pavilion  will be expected to participate.
