Celebrating the 10th anniversary, Cosmobeauté Indonesia kick started a series of nationwide road shows from 2nd of February onwards, aiming to reach out to more than 5 major cities in Indonesia under 2 theme – Beauty & Hair and Aesthetic.


First stop, Cosmobeauté Indonesia arrived in Kendari, the fourth-largest city in Sulawesi, one of the Indonesian province, located around 2-hours flight distanced from Jakarta, the exhibition venue. The road show not only brings preview of the exhibition updates, but also exhibiting brands and products from around the world, providing a sneak peak for beauty industry players in Kendari a first-hand preview.

Dr. Debby Susanti, a renowned expert from the aesthetic industry spoke at the road show, sharing insight about the aesthetics industry in Indonesia to the aestheticians and doctors in Kendari.

As for the next day, another road show themed Beauty & Hair was conducted under the lead of famous hair guru in Indonesia – Rudy Hadisuwarno. Rudy Hadisuwarno Academy has not only performed live demonstration of hair styling, but also sharing about the latest trends and knowledge for the hairdressing industry.

Both road shows were successfully held with more than 100 participants, stay tuned to our upcoming road shows in other cities.

Spotlighting the success of record-breaking number of exhibitors and increase of exhibiting space in the 9th edition, Cosmobeauté Indonesia will celebrate its excellent 10th year, reaffirming its esteemed presence  as the largest beauty trade exhibition in the most populous nation in ASEAN region – Indonesia.

With additional 20% of gross exhibit area compared to previous year, Cosmobeauté Indonesia is expanding the exhibit space again for the 10th anniversary, allocating a bigger dedicated section for more international pavilions. To date, Italy, Spain, Korea, Taiwan and Singapore have confirmed their participation while more European groups are expected to join in the line-ups.

A continuous pro-active promotional activities will also be conducrted to maximise exhibitors’ brand awareness including product features in our online and offline publication mailed directly to their doorstep before the exhibition. In addition, nationwide road shows will be another promotional platform for exhibitor to reach a more diversified potential buyers and investors from other cities of the country, which is located at least 2 hours drive from the exhibition venue.

Cosmobeauté Indonesia 2014 ended its 9th edition of Indonesia International Exhibition & Conference on Cosmetics, Beauty, Hair & Spa with remarkable success of 11,258 visitors from 9 – 11 October at Jakarta Convention Centre, Indonesia.

First European Group Participation – Italian Trade Commission (ICE) and Spanish Cosmetic Toiletry and Perfumery Association (STANPA)

Cosmobeauté Indonesia is proud to host 2 new international groups participation from Europe which are Italian Trade Commission (ICE) and Spanish Cosmetic Toiletry and Perfumery Association (STANPA) as their first time participation in Cosmobeauté Indonesia. ICE showed their support by taking over 18 booths while STANPA occupied booth space in the lobby area showcasing various range of brands and products from each respective countries.

Additional Exhibit Space for International Participation

Additional exhibit space in lobby area is occupied this year to accommodate overwhelming responses from exhibitors, hosting more than 230 companies from 17 countries participating in Cosmobeauté Indonesia 2014. Exhibitors bringing in more than 600 brands from overseas and attracted 11,258 visitors from around the world such as Algeria, Australia, Bulgaria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, Norway, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Sudan, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, UAE, United States, Vietnam and local visitors from 100 cities of Indonesia exploring new business opportunities to enhance their beauty businesses.

Business Matchmaking Program Connects Local Buyers with International Brands

The Business Matchmaking program had successfully bridged international brands with local potential importers, trade buyers and visitors from both overseas and locally. The program served as a strategic platform to allow local visitors to further understand international brands and products represented by exhibitors from around the world and indirectly develop new business relationships.
